Volunteers Matter

Volunteers

You share ideas with us. We couldn’t do it without you.

There are times when founding members of the school are so busy supporting various programs that a need is completely missed. Often, you are able to identify a need or see a solution to a problem because you are working on the front lines and talking directly with the people and communities you serve. We welcome any ideas addressed by the schools volunteers.

BCS relies heavily upon the help of our volunteers. This continues to be true every day. Volunteers like you give precious time to help us achieve our mission of helping our children. In fact, without the help of our volunteers, our schools operation, teachers and students self-esteem among others, would struggle to meet the needs of our ultimate goal.

Institutional Academic Volunteers

At Bwejuu Charity School we welcome academics and institutions to volunteer at our school. In the past we have had representations from Sultan Qaboos University, Abu Dhabi University and several others.

In August 23-26, 2018 a work ethics workshop was facilitated by Mrs Ibtisam Al Busaidi and her husband Mr. Tim for the teachers at BCS. Mrs Ibtisam Al Busaidi is a Faculty Member from the Modern College of Business and Science – Oman. Certificates were distributed by MCBS.

Become a Volunteer

There’s an old saying: “They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”

This couldn’t be a more truthful statement. Volunteers are the ones making an impact on the people they help, which makes the community a better place to live and work. The members of the school community will remember the enthusiastic volunteer who shared a kind word with a child or a teacher.

That memory rubs off on the entire school.
